Management
Training

Develop managers who can give direction, hold useful conversations and help their teams perform. Learning designed for real work.

Based in Nairobi, Kenya. Rwanda and East Africa enquiries welcome; delivery location, format and travel are agreed during scoping. No Kigali office is claimed.

Build management capability around real work.

Managers need more than a well-presented workshop. They need opportunities to practise conversations, make decisions and apply what they learn with their own teams. We begin with the behaviours and organisational challenges the programme should address.

Ubumwe’s company profile brings together corporate training, leadership development, executive coaching and team effectiveness. A programme can combine these approaches where useful, with objectives and delivery methods agreed for your context.

Possible areas of focus

  • Direction and accountability: communicating priorities and clarifying what good performance looks like.
  • People management: useful feedback, performance conversations and individual development.
  • Team effectiveness: collaboration, role clarity and working through shared challenges.
  • Leading change: explaining decisions and supporting teams through transition.

How we shape a programme

Discovery should establish the management challenges, the participants and the outcomes that matter. Design then follows the need: relevant situations, facilitated practice, reflection and working tools, rather than presentations alone.

The scope should specify sessions, preparation, internal sponsorship and any coaching or follow-up. It should also identify how the organisation will support participants as they apply what they learn. Training cannot by itself resolve a structural problem or an unclear organisational priority.

Management training in Rwanda

For organisations in Rwanda, we agree audience, language, delivery location, scheduling and the examples that will make the work relevant. Ubumwe is based in Nairobi; any on-site delivery and travel should be included explicitly in the proposal. No public training dates or accredited qualifications are claimed here.

Success measures should focus on useful evidence of application, not attendance alone. Depending on scope, these might include agreed actions, the use of a management practice or feedback about a specific behaviour. We do not promise an unverified improvement percentage.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

Can management training be tailored to our organisation?

The programme should be shaped around your managers, their work and the behaviours you want to develop. Objectives, content and delivery format are agreed during scoping.

Can training be delivered in Rwanda?

Rwanda enquiries are welcome. On-site or remote delivery, language, location, travel and timing need to be agreed. Ubumwe is Nairobi-based and does not claim a Kigali training centre.

Do you offer accredited qualifications?

No accreditation or certified qualification is claimed here. Raise any accreditation requirement at the start so it can be assessed before a commitment is made.
